SSC Examination...to bring better out from students ?? or To bring out to students? why ?

Students while going back to home after examination....Mustn't forget that they are the our future who will make "AAPANU GUJARAT,AAGAVU GUJARAT, SWARNIM GUJARAT..."

Day before yesterday on 5th March 2010 when I came back to home from Gandhinagar at 9 pm I got a call and came to know that there was some problem created by parents in Mandal ( Mandal is taluka place near by our taluka Detroj) during SSC Exam. I got telephonic information that I have to go there as a Government‘s Education Department’s Representative.

We all 18 members reached there by 9 am yesterday. Our officer guided us what to run make peaceful exam. We started our work with checking students while coming in school gate to appear in exam. Students were disappointed and in mentally pressure due to their last day's experience of exam. During their entry we wish them and they have started their English Exam. We were approximately 43-45 members from different department and there were maximum 30 blocks in campus. That mean each block had a special supervisor. I found that all students were depressed and knocking them by special vigilance team by going in students classes and scolding every one that give the chit you have, if we found in our inspection we will make case and you will punish and your future will close. It was big punishment for them who was not having any thing along with and it saw those officers’ feelings. They were disturbing those students who came just to give exam not to get punishment. Few students hardly (10-15) gave chit they had and till the end of exam every one visited frequently in classes. I must say that they tried to disturb and creating pressure to disappoint students. Not even single student did cheating during exam. How they can, when 45 extra supervisors were there for 30 block-classes? But today morning I found in news paper that student did cheating during exam. I think media reporter should write the truth what they saw instead of they listen. Also media reporter should feel the pain of those poor students who punished by officers. We all should try to see the student’s condition. They were in pressure. We found that many officers were behaving like those students had done bigger mistake – crime.

While going back to home after complete exam we found students were going back by open matador- van in sunny hot with hope that the next day they will have supervisor-special team people who will not disturb by shouting uselessly but will let them write peacefully.

Now the question comes that why we follow the system of exam and election which neither give proper students nor politicians?? Why shouldn’t we create our own system to get and bring best out of the students or candidates?? Why this kind of exam? What is the goal? What we want to bring out from students after exam? We all, who are related with education and evaluation system should think and develop a proper system otherwise we will spoil our kids especially students from villages. Those who belong to financial sound back ground and get good result goes to U.S, UK, Australia or other countries for education. What about our India’s future?

Until we change our evaluation and teaching system from primary level we will not have proper person in all kind jobs….
