Last year on 23rd July 2018 noon, Jeff Wishart from Oakland Manitoba was at our restaurant for lunch. Wishart's roadside hike began at the Manitoba-Saskatchewan border on 4th, July. He said that he is walking to Victoria BC to raise awareness about Multiple sclerosis, a disease his mother suffers from. While talking with him, I came to know that Canada has one of highest rates of MS in the world one in every 385 Canadians are living with this autoimmune disease, which attacks the central nervous system. He walks from sun shine and stop before sun rise or when he she place for his hammock.
While having lunch we talk about culture in Canada and India and he shared his experiences he gets while walking for the world. I told him that from childhood we are listening story of Shravankumar which is in mouth and lip for more than last 7000 years in India and I got an opportunity a real Shravankumar in Canada.
Canada is country as like India where kids respect their parents and Jeff Wishart is one of the live example. It was wonderful experience I had while talking with Jeff Wishart.
May God bless him and his mother and Canada get free from Multiple Sclerosis disease.
